The Public Works Department has the responsibility of maintaining city streets, as well as the maintenance of the City's water and sewer system. Water and Sewer operations are funded through the City's Water and Sewer Fund which, through the established rate structure, provides for maintenance of existing lines and infrastructure improvements. Federal and State grants also assist with these projects. There is a licensed operator on duty during working hours and on call after hours. Customers with water or sewer problems should notify the City Hall during business hours and call the emergency number after hours. The emergency number is: 214-471-3764 Street maintenance and repairs are done mostly in-house with assistance from the County. If you notice a problem or have a request or complaint, please notify City Hall at 972-843-8282.

Water bills are due on the 10th of the month and late after the 15th of the month.
If paid after the 15th, a $20.00 late payment fee will apply.
